Decision support system

miniQ is a web-based decision support system for drug prescription and drug utilisation reviews, used by health professionals. It evaluates the quality of drug treatment based on sets of indicators/criteria, as well as potential ADRs based on assessment of the patient’s symptoms. The criteria/indicators can be both drug specific (inappropriate drugs, drug duplication, drug-drug interactions etc) and diagnosis specific (drug-disease interactions, contraindications etc). miniQ can be linked to virtually any source of drug use information, including Electronic Health Records. miniQ also provides drug use statistics from prescriber to county level. Moreover, it is possible to via miniQ contact on-line a pharmacist or clinical pharmacologist for expert support via the software Monitor, further described below.
